Nach Baliye season 7 is expected to go on air soon. For this season the production team approached Shahid Afridi to participate in the show along with his wife.
Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi was close to finalizing the signing amount when he suddenly developed cold-feet. The batsman was ready to make a solo performance but when knew that the shows format involves couples rocking the dance floor.
Shahid Afridi doesn’t want the whole world to see his wife dancing. He turned down the offer saying, ‘Biwi ko nahin nachana hai!’ Nobody could argue with that as it’s a personal call. This was the main reason he was taken aback.
Nach Baliye is a popular dance reality show about 10 real life celebrity couples competing for the trophy. Earlier, to Shahid Afridi the former batsman Shoaib Malick was being approached. He along with her wife is doing pretty well on the dance floor. Shoaib Malik and wife Sania Mirza break into their dance moves and rocked the dance floor in Nach Baliye 5.
Lastly, Shahid Afridi said that he was not interested in participating in the show. Shahid Afridi is a conservative person who has never brought his wife in talk shows either therefore it was out of question for him to say yes to such a proposal.
