The awards season has officially commenced at B'Town. Last night our favourite stars graced the red carpets at the Jio Gardens and they were expected to come putting their best fashion foot forward for the Star Screen Awards, 2018.
However, we were really disappointed and surprised looking at the outfits worn by most of our favourite Bollywood stars as more than the best dressed we spotted worst dressed celebrities.
Some divas did better than we expected but there were many who spoiled the fun as well. Check out which all Bollywood actresses grabbed the best dressed title and who all landed in our worst dressed list, from the event that took place last night.
Best Dressed
Katrina Kaif
She shined on the red carpet with her cult favourite look, i.e. a shimmery white gown and soft-wavy hair; however, the feathery cape was a show stealer. Zero actress donned a gorgeous gown designed by Falguni And Shane Peacock.
Alia Bhatt
She chose to wear an elegant floor touching tulle gown by Winnie Couture. She looked adorable as ever in a side ponytail and subtle makeup.
Radhika Madan
Looking like a patakha, new-bee Radhika Madan stunned in a lavender coloured high-low evening gown that featured while leaves cut-outs. She looked like the next girl next door.
Worst Dressed
Deepika Padukone
Most disappointing look of the evening was donned by Deepika Padukone. She looked like an evil witch in an ill-fitted all back outfit by Anamika Khanna. She went a little too bold with the dramatic look.
Jacqueline Fernandez
She is known to be somebody who never disappoints on the red carpets but we aren't a fan of what she wore last night. The pink high-low pastel pink dress by Ester Abner was not wow-worthy at all. TBH, it seemed a little out-dated to us!
Adah Sharma
We love when ethnic meets western and especially when casual saris are paired with cool sneakers. However, Adah Sharma's poppy outfit looked a little too tackey and could not impress us.
Nora Fatehi
Most talked about outfit of the evening was worn by Dilbar-Dilbar girl indeed but only because the whole attire looked like a ripped out wannabe of Nicki Minaj's event outfits. Also we absolutely hate her sleek hairdo.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha wore a beatiful blue, heavily embellished outfit by the designer label, Kresha Bajaj. A sheer peplum top paired with a tulle skirt and diamond jewellery gave us major ethnic wear goals for the ongoing wedding season but not red carpet goals. Sad!
