Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) held its annual Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) Luminites Association Awards in which it honours ex-graduates of the School who have achieved distinction in their professions.
The three people that the Association chose to honour unanimously this year were Arif N. Butt (MBA ’89) Dean, SDSB; Duraid Qureshi (MBA ’97), CEO of HUM Network Ltd and Momina Duraid (MBA ’97), CEO MD Productions for their ground-breaking contribution to the entertainment industry of Pakistan. It may be noted that this is the first time that people from the media were recognized for their contribution by the business school alumni. The Rector of LUMS, Abdul Razak Dawood presented the ‘Pride of LUMS awards’ to the distinguished MBA alumni.
Dr Arif Nazir Butt is a professor and Dean at the Suleman Dawood School of Business at LUMS. He teaches Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management in the graduate and PhD programmes.
