DELHI: Mausummery Lawn showcased their latest Spring/ Summer 2012 collection at “Life Style Pakistan”, a four-day exhibition at Pragati Maidan, Delhi, from April 12 to 15, 2012.
Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, this event is the biggest such initiative of its kind.
“Mausummery Lawn, one of the pioneers in the lawn market, is delighted to be part of this initiative being taken by the government of Pakistan,” said Ayesha Mansoor, CEO of Mausummery Lawn. “It’s a truly admirable step, and we hope this will lead to strengthening of trade between Pakistan and India.”Over 300 stalls will exhibit a vast array of Pakistani fashion, textiles, leather products, accessories, home furnishing and a taste of traditional food specialty items. The exhibition covers textiles, designer dresses, readymade clothes, leather clothes and leather goods, furniture, jewelry, grain, carpets, spices or herbs, fruits and veggies, marble and onyx and traditional ceramic tiles.
“We have a lot of high hopes from Pakistan’s first-ever official culture exhibition in India,” said Ayesha Mansoor, who heads the design team at Mausummery Lawn and has helped the shape the brand into a veritable leader in the lawn market. “We believe this initiative will open a large number of doors for us, and we look forward to expanding our presence in India.”
Mausummery Lawn launched in 1997, when the awareness of designer lawn brands was still in its infancy. Masummery quickly began to gain market share due to its innovative designs, high quality of fabric and vibrant color palette.
This year Masummery Lawn celebrated its 15th anniversary, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious brands in the country. In 2012, Mausummery opened its first flagship store at Dolmen Clifton Mall and also launched its most extensive lawn collection ever with more than 50 print/ color combinations.
