Eid ul Azha chaand raat festival is very different it involves goat and animal festivals more than bangles and mehndi. A lot of people wait till chaand raat to get the animals and these days there are proper festivals where people go and look at the animals because these animals are special and very expensive. A lot of people are busy throughout and they leave this task on the chaand raat. These animal festivals are the biggest attraction on chaand raat and people from all over visit them.
Whereas women are concerned the chaand raat celebrations are pretty much the same. Women are still found on chaand raat shopping and at salons getting their mehndi and hair done. There aren’t many chaand raat festivals on Eid ul Azha the way they are on Eid ul Fitr but the main objective of this night is to celebrate. People also go out to eat as a celebration for the big day. Eid ul Azha chaan raat might be boring for some people but at the same time it has its own charm. The kids love to be around animals at festivals and looking at goats and buying collars and decoration for them. They also get food for the goat since they know it will be slaughtered the next day.
Eid ul Azha chaand raat is a lot of fun for young kids and adults. People are found on the streets taking their animals out for a walk and also showing off their animals to their friends and other people. The goats, cows and camels are decorated with bright colored decorations and bells. Eid ul Azha chaand raat is different from Eid ul fitr chaand raat but it is still great fun.
