The Runway exclusive fashion party was held at the prestigious Corinthian in Glasgow City centre. The spectacular evening was attended by some of the finest ladies from around the UK.

The two hosts Sofia Khushi and Obaira Ghafur showcased their growing talents, both are at the cutting edge of their work. Sofia K presented her fall/winter collection and Obaira showed off her latest make up trends of 2011. Sofia’s “Runway 2011 Fall / Winter Cutting Edge Collection” showcases a fusion of Asian Glamour to fit in with today’s western trends. From simplicity to splendor I offer elegance and femininity to every woman.

The collection has been especially designed for the Sofia K label with a vision in mind for today’s modern woman. Its the fusion of two wonderful cultures expressed in Sofia K clothing line. Obaira’s likes to set the trend with new makeup ideas and colour’s. Her philosophy is to make each of her client’s look fabulous and feel fabulous.

Obaira has a great passion for make-up and believes that make-up is a form of art full of colour and expression. This was a refreshing event which proved that Asian fashion has truly moved into the 21st century and with these two aspiring artists, the future of Asian fashion and beauty in Glasgow is in good hands.

This event has left those who attended and those who didn’t get tickets even more excited about future events from this dynamic duo.
