The five day fashion extravaganza kicks off in Dubai on October 24 to showcase spring/summer collections of top notch designers including Manish Malhotra, Furne One, Mona Fares, Aartivijay Gupta, Shrehkanth, Amber Feroz, and from Pakistan fashion designer Sobia Nazir and Bisma Ahmed are participating some of them including HSY were also very famous designers of Dubai Fashion Week 2009.There will be a total of 40 designers including fashion giants and some new comers, all to come together to celebrate fun-packed, glamor-filled Dubai Fashion Week.
The show in its 8th season also moves towards another venue, Asateer at Atlantis The Palm, providing a much bigger venue, that is more in tune with the much anticipated growth of Dubai Fashion Week.
In addition to that, a few changes to the show have been announced. There will be a total of 30 shows over five days. The show timing has been revised with shows starting and ending earlier in order to give more time and flexibility to designers and buyers.
Marc Robinson, DFW’s official Show Director and co-founder, said, “DFW SS11 will be bigger, more energetic and a fashion display like never before in the Middle East. Unique original designs, new trends and a fresh outlook on hair and make-up will bring visible enhancement to the shows.
