After much anticipation, the IIFA 2018 opened with a gala night at the Siam Niramit Center in Bangkok on June 22nd. As they rolled the Green Carpet out on the floor of the city’s most iconic cultural center, our favorite celebrities dazzled the evening in their most magnificent looks.
Each of them resembling royalty, walked down the IIFA Rocks Green Carpet in some of the most stunning creations. Here’s a look at some of our fashion favourites at the grand opening of B-town’s most exclusive annual event.
1. Kriti Sanon flattered her frame in Gaurav Gupta
Dramatic and poised, Kriti Sanon wore a metallic gown featuring one-shoulder detailing and a voluminous ruffled hemline. She shone brightest on the carpet with her next-door girl-turned-supermodel look.
2. Shraddha Kapoor exuded elegance in Reem Acra
Dreamy and pretty in a gown that pictured the starry night sky, Shraddha Kapoor sported adorable charm about her. She paired her ensemble with similar toned accessories, stilettos and a soft wavy curls.
3. Iulia Vantur embodied elegance in a unique design
Romanian singer Iulia Vantur once again wowed us with a flower-embroidered strapless white gown and looked like an absolute vision.
4. Karan Johar slayed in Nikita Jaisinghani
The multi-talented Karan Johar looked dapper as he walked down the green carpet in a statement slim-fit pink suit over a white shirt with black formal pants and shoes. The finishing touch on his outfit was a shiny brooch that added just the right amount of bling to the look.

Dia Mirza dazzled in a parrot-green shimmery number painting a perfect portrait of beauty for a cause. The Indian ambassador for the UN looked ravishing in a deep neckline with dainty heels to match!

Couture is classic - Divya Khosla Kumar followed this to the T, and adorned herself with a floral patterned blazer-skirt. She kept the look minimal with light jewellery, letting the exquisite embroidery do the talking.

Varun Dhawan sported a new-generation design that teamed fusion wear with classic grunge. His skinny pants, white kurta, and long dark jacket gave him a different edge.

The international beauty queen looked like a million bucks as she strolled down the green carpet in an enchanting Julie Sufi piece. She carries a glow in a paper-thin gold layered gown, paired with glossy golden heels.
